The aim of this conference is to provide students, researchers/ scientists, industry professionals with the opportunity to stay informed about the new special and performance ingredients, the latest scientific developments and technological innovations in cosmetics industries.

The conference will highlight the need for R&D, production and manufacturing of cosmetics/herbal formulations in India.
Emphasis
The conference will emphasize on use of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), 3D Bioprinting driven cosmetic product development to accelerate the cosmetic industry growth in India which will be first of this kind in India.
The Division of Cosmetic Science, School of Life Sciences at JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru, is organizing a Conference on the theme “Science and Technology in Cosmetics”, on 2nd and 3rd December 2024 at, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysore, focusing on innovative ingredients and performance raw materials for cosmetics, new technologies for cosmetics formulation development, analysis & evaluation of cosmetic products and 3D Bioprinted skin models for testing cosmetics.
Skin and personal care product is the fastest moving & growing segment in the beauty market by application.
The cosmetic industry is dynamic and heavily influenced by scientific research & technological advancements thus becoming a core strategy for innovations in cosmetic industries. Consumers are not only looking for more sustainable and natural ingredients, but they also want ingredients backed by scientific research, with proven efficacy. Newer cosmetic ingredients & advancing technologies are shaping the cosmetic and personal care industry.
JSS AHER is the first institute in the south India to offer an MSc course in Cosmetic Science and integrating cosmetic science with technology – the use of AI in cosmetic formulation made & driven for Indian skin, highlighting a focus on R&D in India for customized Indian made for Indian people.
